ARTIST BIO
Tanya Andrews Libby is a Vermont artist whose work, inspired by the state's stunning natural landscapes, employs a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolor, and ink. After receiving her BA in Art Education from Elmira, she balanced teaching elementary art and motherhood while experiencing a creative revival during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly with watercolors. Active in the Chelsea Barn Quilt Project since 2017, Tanya has completed numerous commissions and showcased her art in exhibitions and local markets, all while aiming to celebrate and preserve the beauty of the earth with elegance and vibrancy.

ART THAT MAKES YOU LOOK TWICE
Tanya's Vermont Barn Quilt has traveled the state, having been displayed at The Vermont Welcome Center in Guilford, Vermont & The Bennington Welcome Center. Each of the segments within the quilt celebrate the symbols that represent the Green Mountain State.
